ARTIST STATEMENT:
It is said that the best government is that which governs the least.
My ideal setting for satisfying and exciting music making is to bring
together players who possess a high degree of skill,great imagination,
and perhaps most importantly in an improvised setting, the ability to
communicate well on an intuitive level. I can then feel confident in
letting the music happen in an unrestricted fashion, without giving much
direction or setting parameters, because these parameters and direction
will be established by the musicians as part of the music making process.
